Bat Description
Review: 2-Piece bat designed for any level hitter. While the HB12 Vice has a stiffer barrel and overall feel than 2024 models its the perfect blend to benefit players with average to below average swing speeds while being stiff enough to give Excellent performance to payers with higher swing speeds.
Design: 12” Barrel, Tri-Zone Technology, and a Pro Flex handle. This bat comes in a .5 EL and weights 25-27oz.
Sweet Spot: Ranked Excellent for both 52s and Pro Ms. Ball jumped off the barrel regardless of sanction and gave good velo numbers for both.
Forgiveness: Performed as expected for a short barreled 2-piece bat. You got top end sweet spot and sacrificed just a little in the way of forgiveness as we gave this an above average ranking. While the forgiveness was good there were times it felt soft outside the sweet spot leading to some performance drop offs.
Feedback: Barrel feels crisper than previous models which gives a big improvement in feedback and feel from previous models leading to an above average rating in this area.
